Jason will be performing this Saturday night at The Office bar behind City Cafe in downtown Chattanooga. This FREE show starts at 8pm. Also Jason will be performing at the Mud Pie restaurant in Chattanooga on May 13th. More bookings are in the works so be sure to check back often!!

Jason has new acoustic shows booked! The spring and summer calendar is filling up. Join Jason at the North Chatt Cat Saturday April 3rd as he joins forces with The First Stone's Brian Kelly from Atlanta. Jason will also be performing at THE OFFICE bar in downtown Chattanooga next to City Cafe on Saturday April 10th at 8pm. Both shows are FREE so come on down! THE SONIC AVATARS HAVE ARRIVED!! The latest album "Jason Lyles and the Sonic Avatars" will be released on Feb.20th at Midtown Music Hall in Chattanooga. Come on out for the party! Jason's latest album, "Jason Lyles and the Sonic Avatars" is nearing completion! Look for a Release date and show around February/March. In the meantime Jason has joined forces with Chattanooga's newest rock powerhouse, RaBiDeArS. Jason is the new frontman for the band which will be playing a HUGE new year's party at the Riverhouse. Jason Lyles is a rock solo artist currently based out of Chattanooga, TN. Originally from Chatsworth, GA, Jason's musical style is an upbeat mix of powerpop, alternative, and southern rock, with an emphasis on rhythmic guitar and astounding vocals. His influences include a diverse range of bands and artists such as Matthew Sweet, Nuno Bettencourt, Better Than Ezra, The Black Crowes, Foo Fighters and the Freddy Jones Band. After performing in many regional bands, Jason released his first independent album Shades of Grey in 2003, and he performed at clubs, festivals, colleges and other venues in support of the album. His music has been heard on Rock 105 WRXR, 96.5 The Mountain, 91.5 The WAWL, 94.3 The X, Talk 102.3, WETS 89.5, WMTS 88.3, SCAD Radio, DirectTV's The 101, as well as various internet stations and podcasts.
In 2007, he released his much anticipated EP, Ethereal to regional critical acclaim. He has performed throughout the southeast in support of this labor of love.
While continuing his solo acoustic work, Jason released his third album, Jason Lyles and the Sonic Avatars, with his band of the same name. This group is an energetic rock power trio reminiscent of Cheap Trick, The Cars, and Better Than Ezra. Jason and the Avatars are ready once again to bring their upbeat, caffeine-charged, good-times rock'n'roll to the south and beyond.
